Well, you have decided well to go for M.Tech For persuing M.Tech in India from any good institute you have to go through GATE entrance exam. GATE for this year has been conducted, you can appear for it next year. (check this link for full details on GATE @ http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2010_website
