Hi Prasanth, You can surely opt for M.Tech. without giving GATE exam but it is highly discouraged. As you will miss the best colleges in the country. Also there are exams conducted for M.E./M.Tech. by institutes like BITS Pilani and IIIT Hyderabad and both are like stalwarts in their reputation. O
