I am currently working with Sales and Marketing division of an IT firm and would like to divert my carrer into operations line. But then while checking the job opportunities all are demanding experience in the respective field . Please guide me a good career path.I am doing Dist.PGDOM from Welingkar

Operations is an interesting area but at times confused with administration. I am sure companies would be willing to consider your S&M experience useful towards an operations job. It would certainly be useful if you develop good Project Management skills while you learn Operations. Wish you the best
