Is it a wise decision to pursue MBA with CS

is doin mba with cs a good career combination?.in which field should i do mba if i also want to opt for cs as well.is mba cs give me extra edge in my career?

    Hi,
    Rather than doing CS you should take up a combination of CA or CFA & MBA. As CS is the Company secretary course in which the main focus would be on corporate laws, securities laws & capital market. Company Secretary is responsible for all regulatory compliances of company he or she is a corporate planner and strategic manager for the company whereas CA is more near to Management program as The basic skills for aspiring chartered accountancy is that the person should possess good numerical ability, analytical mind to interpret facts and figures, logical and methodical approach in work, and all these qualities are also required for an

    MBA (HR)+CS or MFA(Finance)+CA/ CFA or MBA(Marketing) are different ways to combine courses. Wish you the best for your career. Remember, your Career is a resultant of your knowledge combined with your passion and expression ability.

    I complete agree and re-endorse the views of Pooja and Neelu. Considering an MBA with CFA will be a far superior alternative.
    It is a good idea to pursue an MBA and build on your specialisation. However, with millions having an MBA degree being unique is equally important. CFA offers a brilliant prospect and you can expect a package of over Rs 1 Crore on successful completion. Though, I would like to warn you that the success ratio is very low and there are less than a lakh CFAs in the whole world.

    A Company Secretary is the legal custodian of an organization. I suggest, you look at doing, either your MBA from a reputed B School or go for the CS program. Drawing from my experience, doing an MBA with CS will not give you any leverage.

    as per my view mba can combine with any of the course like ca ,cs,icwa,cfa.In mba we lea rn managent realed things which can combine with any of the feild. today doctors are doing mba in hospitality. mba finace and cs also work out u know sm legal affairs of the company along with few knowldge of finance.
