Which of the two is the better option in engineering - Electronics & Communication or Computer Science

Engg. In Electronic and Communication is better option then CS engg reason u can go to industry realted PCB designing and onthe other hand u can work also with TElecom Departmens .In computer Science u can b software engg as the ression period is over now thwe prospect r also bright in CS Engg.

Hi Anagha, Well it depends on your interest and career focus. If you are keen to get in the field of IT and computers then definitely getting a more focused career course would be any day a better option i.e. going for a computer engineering would suit. But if you are looking for an engineering field which parts its focus in different careers including Telecoms, Electronics, and IT then going for the EC specialization in Engineering would be a good options. Neither of the two has any disadvantages, all of it depends on your area of interest and your career objectives. ece communication and computer both are the good branches but its depend on u that in which field u want to go.their is a benefit of electronic branch is that u can go in it electronic mechanical as well as electrical this is the benefit for electronic student but their is very little jobs in electronic because their are only companies in india their is little campus from electronic the 75% student of electronic go in software field after completing their degree.the cse is better because during campus placement the companies asked question from c and c++ from every student specilly for girls cse better than electronic because if they want to go in communication than it is field job so it is difficult for girls to do field jobs so i suggest to take cse

Hey. . Don't compare any two branches. . All branches are good. . Only you have to look for ur interest . .Before taking a branch get information about that branch,if u think that u have interest in it,then go for that. . If u take ece then u ll get both software and hardware knowlege,if u are looking for good placement then definately go for cs.Anyways all the best!!!!
