Is M.Sc.(Electronics) from Periyar University IDE (PRIDE) through Distance Learning a valid degree? Is it DEC approved? They conduct the practicals for this course in Mumbai. Can one appear for UGC NET or GATE exams after completion of the above PG degree through Distance Learning?

Hi, To appear for NET you need have completed/ are pursuing a UGC specified degree. Periyar University is a UGC recognised Univesity, so you can sit for NET. GATE can be given by anybody with Bachelors or Masters degree in specifice courses. For complete information please check the links below: ht
