what is the eligibility criteria for a professor in IIT/NITS/Goverment engg colleges? i hv done B.TECH in Mechanical engg with 68%, 12th with 87%, 10th with 79%, and pls sugguest other fields better than it. hemant_jaiwal@yahoo.co.in

Dear Student,
To be applicable for Professor post, criterion vary a bit for IITs, NITs and Govt. Colleges as they all belong to different universities and some of them are autonomous too.
Normally Phd. with some experience is good for IITs and NITs.
For normal Govt. colleges , a PG degree suffic
