Does NIT ( Calicut ) offer scholarships for the B.Tech program
sir.\nMy son has got 94% marks for his CBSE 12th examinations. He had joined for the BTech (Mechanical Eng) course in NIT Calicut. Our annual income is Rs 1.5 lakhs. Is he eligible for any scholorships. If yes please send me the details. \nP. Mathew

Your son can appear for Krishi Yuva Vygyanik Protsahan and can get stipend of Rs. 4000 per month and above till he completed his Ph.D
This is one of the best option

There is a scholarship given by the MHRD in collaboration with CBSE that offers Rs.1000/- per month for 10 months in a year till the completion of the degree.

if annual income is below 1lakh only he is eligible to get scholarships.ur son got 94% so depending on merit he may be any another chances
