What is the procedure to get my DOB Rectified on my college Transfer certificate?
I finished my B.com in 2005.I failed to notice that wrong DOB has been mentioned in the college tfr cert.When i asked them they ask me for a copy of school Tfr cert.The original school Tfr cert. is with them.When i ask them to confirm from it, they say that they have disposed it.Can they do so?

Hi Sundar, Well as far I would know, no institute/ University has a right to keep the original certificates even after the completion of the course. You may register a complaint against the college in regards to dispose the original transfer certificate at the University from which the college holds

first of all, no university or college or corporate body or even government body has right to take in possession any of academic originals, it is provided that for their record they should take certified copies after verifying originals, if in case you have mistakenly left it with them on your own,
