Can any one please explain the funda of percentile scores?

Hi,
The percentile rank or score shows how a candidate scored when it is compared to all other candidates who took the exam. For example, if a candidate is said to be at the 75th percentile, the candidate scored better than 75% of the candidates who took the exam.
