What are the eligibility criteria to be a travel and ticketing professional?

i am 32.i am an M.Sc in science.was into teaching profession but since have lost interest in this job want to change my field and want to know if travel and ticketing can be beneficial for me.what are the requirements for making career in the field of travel and ticketing?
