What are my chances of getting admission in top 10 UK Universities for MSc Software ENgineering? When should I appear for IELTS?

hi sir..now im doing 2nd year mca with 73%..but in bca i had lower second class degree tat 55%...well im eligible to do msc(software engg)in uk top ten universities...how should i take in ielts..
