I am a BTech in ECE batch 2003-2007. I have work experience in Software Industry. I am willing to go for MS in CS / IT in US. Does change of stream pose a problem? How can I overcome it?

You have good scope for doing Masters in Electronics Communication as demand for job is high in your field which will be a added advantage .It's depending upon your interest doing Masters in CS. if u have yahoo account join MS in US team It will be really helpful in getting better answer for ur ques

No, change of stream would not a problem. The only thing that you would have to do is to justify yourself in your Essays/SOP why you are changing your stream and what will you be gaining from it. Apart from that, it is never a problem if you are coming from a different background or specialization.
