ya it,s main difference that PGDM is diploma level. but MBA is master level. so it will better than pgdm and benificial also.

PGDM degree is given by private institutions and MBA degrees are given by Universities.. but both are one and the same and carry same weightage..

Hi Sandhya MBA is offered only by Universities and Colleges affiliated to Universities Institutes which are not affiliated to any University or colleges which have not registered the course with the University give PGDM degrees. pgdm is a diploma and mba is a degree so many coleges offers pgdm that is diploma but some of them offer degree also . so before doing make sure what is offered by the university

former gives u only diploma which has low value but the latter gives u a degree which has a more value bacause degree is greater than diploma..

Sandhiya PGDM is equivalent to MBA. As per the regulation only universities can issue MBA degree and not any college or insititue. The problem comes if you want to study in foreign universities after MBA, where they require degree and not PGDM. you can gave it from Skyline Business School (www.

MBA is (masters in business mgt) offered by universities whereas PGDMA is (post graduate diploma in business mgt)offered by pvt.colleges.I suggest u to do MBA from a good institute,rather than PGDM.Infact co.s prefer MBAs over PGDM holders. best of luck.
