What is the basic difference between Backward Class (BC) and other Other Backward Classes (OBC)
Hi.. pls let me know whether BC & OBC are same. Because some banks are recruiting only for OBC. Am belongs to BC. Shall I appear for that Exams?

No they are different OBC have very less scope against BC. BC have good chances at all. -
hi i am steffi,i have appiled for gate exam ,in that i tick the catagory as OBC ,actually i am BC ,whether they r same,otherwise any problem may come during verfication,what can i do now? -
BC/OBC are same as they are backward caste. In some state they are coined as BC and some as OBC

BC and OBC are the same.You are eligible for the exams. -
for every bank exam there are several quota of seats available. some seats are reserved for SC(scheduled caste), ST(scheduled tribe),OBC(other backward classes),PH(physically handicapped) and the rest are for the OPEN general unreserved category.You can appear for all banking exams irrespective of your caste.
