i am b.tech fresher in mechanical engineering, i want to sit for gate exam and want to do masters in computer science .do i have to opt for computer science as qualifying paper for gate . my question is whether this crossover is allowed or not ?

hai am computer science student at final yr...when u fill ur gate application u should mark as cse so u totaly the gate paper will be based on computers and its acadamic sullbus..so atleast u should have grip on computer languages ..just to attent exam..
