Hi, my name is Anup Kumar Mitra. I passed my B.tech degree in 2007. presently I am working in a MNC. I want to appear for UPSC exam, in 2011. Is that possible. Please respond.

HI,It is possible you can do it UPSC exam.a) Nationality : A candidate must either be :
(i) a Citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in Indi

Get in touch with a good coaching institute (like Rau's in Delhi) and take their study material. Appear for mock tests regularly. Make a habit of reading newspaper "The Hindu" regularly. Read "Pratiyogita Darpan". Discuss with other person who are preparing for this exam. Increase your G.K. by keepi
