Does having a year drop in BE, affects career prospects?

sir,i m BE 3rd year student,i\'v gotn year back for 2nd time..m not a weak student..due to some family problem i couldnot concentrate in my study..now everything is fine but m lost two valuable academic year..so i want to know i shud leave my degree or continue..shall i get job?????

we are still in recession period we have not yet over come this period so it would be very difficult to get a job..as u said u r not a weak student concentrate and study well..or if u have a good 2nd puc result you can apply for job in state bank of india clerical post,take a coaching for the exam p
