What is the time duration to clear backlogs examination?

hi, i did B-tech from pondicherry university. I got passed out in the year 2006, but still i have one paper to pass. Since Dec 2009, university is not allowing me to write exam saying that my time period to pass exam is over. Like me 14 more students too have the same problm. wht wll we do now...???

For each university there is a time limit to pass the semester. I guess you will have to get in touch with the University officials and then re register for the program under the new scheme and write the whole semester again. I am not an expert on this, but my experience says you can sort this out
