The foremost thing to be kept in mind while preparing for IAS is an alternate career if suppose you are not able to reach your goal. This is particularly true for IAS because the goings becomes tougher after clear prelims and are the toughest after clearing the main & before the final interview.

Hi Rajesh,
In order to become an IAS you have to give the UPSC exams which are conducted twice a year. Their are two stages- Preliminary and main. The eligibility of age is 21-30yrs and minimum requirement is graduation.
