What are the career options for a student doing his M.A. (English Literature)

Hi Avilash, As you are interested in Civil Services, i would like to say that in order to get into the civil services you have to give the UPSC exams conducted by the govt. of India. The minimum requirement is graduation from a recognized university and the age eligibility lies between 21yrs-30yrs.

Avilash, apart form what Ms Priya has rightly advised, you must also try to clear the UGC NET exam which you make you eligible for Lecturer's job in any university. You also have an option of doing M.Phil and if you clear UGC NET exam for JRF then you will also get good scholarship for doing M.Phil.
