Hi, can anyone out there can help me in knowing what is the basic difference between a 'technical university" and a "university of applied sciences"???.my major in undergraduation was mechanical and am planning to do my ms in germany.which one of the university would be the best for the mech engg ??

Hi, TU are universities which mainly focuses on courses related to Engineering Like MS, PHD in Engineering field with very few specialization courses of other fields.Whereas, Universities of Applied Science have equal focus on technical as well as humanities or other field courses.
