How should one go about making a career in the banking sector

I work in BPO industry but I am looking for a career in banking sector. Would CFP be a right choice for me and can I get a job after the completion of this course? I can do this course trhough distance learning. Please suggest me a few good institutes.

Dear Ajay, Since you are working better don't go for further studies and certifications. Please make yourself prepare for bank exams and attend side by side your work.
