Will an MBA (part time) program help a B.Sc (Chemistry) with three years of experience as a senior counsellor make his career in management

I am BSC chemistry passed with 49%.and now i am having 3 years experience worked as a senior councillor .I wanted to make my carrer in management will I be able to get admission for mba part time?is this can become a greatful career for me?please let me know as i am very confused .
