How should one go about preparing for the UPSC exam

Hi,i m a TYBCA student want to appear for upsc exam i want all the details for exam as exam date in 2011,and the syllabus to study and guidelines that shlould i go for this exam?

hey there are two parts of the upsc exams the prelims and the mains. the prelims is just the objective kind and mains would be detail question answer pattern. you need to put sincere and focused efforts if you wanna realy crack it.its one of the toughest exams. the official site is www.upscexam.com
