It is neither possible abroad nor in India as you need to have a masters "degree" in the same field that you want to pursue your PHD in. Diplomas are not considered incase of PHD degrees. Dear Manoj, Post Graduate Diploma don't have same value as for MBA Degree. First complete your MBA then you are eligible to apply for PHD in India as well as from Abroad.

You will have to complete a master degree for PHD anywhere in world. Your diploma is not a enough qualification

You have to clear GMAT for studies abroad. based on your GMAT score you need to apply in foreign universities . you can also apply for Ph.d in India. If you intend to do P.hd's from IIM's you have to clear the Admission test for felloe programme in management.
