What is the semester system followed in IGNOU for MBA programme?

Hi I hv jst applied for OPENMAT from IGNOU. My plans r to pursue MBA operations frm IGNOU. When I gone through the prospectus it shows number of courses and it is slightly confusing in regards to semesters. Can some1 plz simplify the the course sequence with respect to semesters for MBA operations?

there are 21 paperwhich you will have to clear in minimum 2 and half year you can give exams in every six months but you can only give maximum 5 exams in a semester.you will have to deposit the fee of the papers w hich you are appling for that is 1000per paper
