MBA is post graduate program, Master level and all master programs are 1 to 2 years. There are institutes which offer internship while you are pursuing a course with them.However if you are pursuing part time you are free to work as per your schedule

Normally institutes do not give placement assistance, for part time MBA programs. This is because, most of the students, are reasonably well settled in their job, and do this program for value addition, in terms of furthering their prospects.
