yes it is very much compulsary, in addition to that u must also hav DOB certificate ......

Hi Rahul,
All documents has to be attested and verified before applying for the UK student visa, However you may confirm this to the embassy as you have to show all the documents in original while applying for the visa.

you can take a xerox copy and get it attested and apply.
