Which optionals would suit a B. Tech (IT) third year student wanting to appear for the civil services exam

i am a b.tech(i.t.)-3rd year student.i wish to go for civil services,but at present i am bit puzzled about deciding the right optional.i am planning to begin my preparation with my 4th year that is from july.2011.suggest me how must i choose my optional n send me the new pattern regarding optionals.

HI Saumya, The minimum education requirement to write the Civil Services is a Graduate degree from a recognized University. I think preparing a year ahead would be enough but this may vary from one person to another depending on persons capabilities and academic strengths as well . There are many
