my son is 12thstd he is doing in arts he wants to do automobile eng.can he do tell me the collegeand fees and duration period

he can go 4 engg after HSC bt it wud b very difficult 4 him coz he doesnt hav science background......since he is an arts student.rather he cud try 4 psychology graduation n den cud try 4 mba in hr.......or do a bba or bca wich is vry much in demand now a dayz

HI, For any engineering education, first you have to complete your 12th with science background. If you complete your 10th, so immediately after that you can take admission for polytechnic diploma, if you dont want tojoined direct degree course. And after diploma also you can go for degree of engine

He can do Diploma in Automobile Engineering (on basis of 10th). Diploma will be three years polytechnic course. Thereafter if he wishes, he can do BTech in Automobile or Mechanical (next 3 years).

I think science is necessary for taking admission in Automobile engineering. If your son is studying Arts in XIIth it might be difficult for him to get admission in Automobile engineering branch.
