Hi, I have completed B.tech in IT from UPTU and 1 year distance learning PGDBM from PTU.Am I eligible to persue m phil or phd?

You have to have exceptionally excellent track record in B.Tech to be eligible for direclty Pursuing Phd without having to go for PG. You can refer to IIT sites for more details regarding eligibility for Phd.

The eligibility to get admission in a PhD program is a Masters degree from a recognized University. The aggregate percentage required may vary from University to University but in most of the cases it would be from 55% to 60%. So, as you have Post Graduate Diploma and not a Degree you ca

yes you are eligible but only when you have aggregate 55% mark in your graduation some university wants 60% marks
