Master Degree from a distance learning education is valid for further education like Phd or Mphil. And if I want to pursue my career in teaching field (College Lecturer) then distance learning degree will be given equal weightage?

Yes. You can go for Ph.D either through writing the entrance or through qualifying nET/SLET exam. Doing masters through distance mode is not a barrier for obtaining M.Phil/Ph.D degree.
All the best.
