What is the apt time to start preparing for the Civil Service exam

hi i am a student of class XIth with humanities and want to make my career in civil services kindly tell me after XIIth should i persue with simple graduation or do honours in some subject

Honours will be good but you can pursue simple but should be expert in your subjects

Honors would be better because for civil service exam you must do intensive study of subjects u choose.

Honors would be a better option regarding the field you want to choose for civil cervices. I would suggest you to go for Taxation\Accounting as all civil exams such as PSC,IAS,CPT entrences requires its Expertise Knowledge..

Honours is a specialization in a subject in a graduation level. It is always better to be a specialist than to be a simple graduate. Besides it sets you on a path of serious studies. Keeping your future intentions in mind go in for an Honours course
