What is the admission process for doing PH.D. from Europe, US or Canada

Sir I am doing my Mtech from IT-BHU(varanasi) my field is control systems and i would like to pursue my phd abroad from Europe or US or Canada can you please tell me what are the requirements i should fulfill and when should i apply and what are the career prospects
