I am a science graduate and hold a part time diploma in finance. So far 15 year's career graph has been inclined upwards and have worked overseas for 10 years on senior levels. Will it be a wise idea to go for exec. MBA and whether that can get me a platform in India considering my age as 40?

Age is never a barrier. You should look at the one year full time executive MBA program, offered by, IBS , Hyderabad. Most of the participants are professionals, in your age group. Their placements are fantastic.
