Can I pursue a course in journalism along with my BMM course as i have 3 backlogs pending from 3rd sem.

I am a BMM student.....now in 4 semester.... but i failed in 3 subjects in semester 3 and now i am suppose to repeat the semester but i dont want to waste my year.... i am intrested in journalism so plz suggest me some jurnalism course which i can do
