    As correctly said by Pooja and backing her on the point of the cultural influences, i would also say that this will bring in a lot of difference not just in terms of cultures and acceptability of the changes but then the changes in terms of broad thinking in every term and means.
    But losing on your cultural identity, this will entirely depend from one person to another and their preferences.

    I have seen kids from the The British School in Delhi. They have definitely moved alot away from our culture. Taking their example and the only case that i have witnesses, i would support the fact that Foreign universities in India would definitely make the students move further away from the Indian Culture.

    It would be both ways, though, it would be great from education point of view as the foreign Universities like US, Canada etc. have a more open education system where you get chances to explore your passions & interests but at the same time it will bring along foreign culture of extreme modernized thinking which may take us away from our own traditional culture.
