Does the name of the University carry weightage for a person wanting to do his Masters abroad

I'm resident in Mumbai & aspiring 2do Bachelors in Physiotherapy in Punjab in 2011& Masters abroad.My query is-while taking admission 2 foreign univ GRE ,TOEFL & Bachelors marks are seen so does it matter to which state we do Bachelors other than Mumbai as ultimately GRE ,TOEFL & Bachelors matters?

It does not matter which state you pursue your bachelors from. The university's brand name would matter, as well as its recognition would matter. The university where you would pursue your bachelors should be recognized by UGC and AICTEE. If the university is accredited, then there should be no prob
