Diploma in Engineering from a Polytechnic College is a 3 year professional qualification and can be pursued after 10th in most of the states in India. Diploma courses offered by local computer centres are of shorter duration (say Diploma in Java etc). Degree(B Com, BA etc from Arts and Science/App

in engineering you can do diploma after 12th and degree after diploma, Diploma is like a short term course not a professional but degree counts in professional course and you may got better apoortunity after degree
