You might require a degree which can be pursued through distance education. I am not sure whether your experience will be given due weightage over degree. Now GMBA for diploma holders is being offered by IIBMT and will be useful if you are aiming at career advancements in private sector .Please visi

Dear,
If you have 17yr of working experience then instead of doing MBA you should go for E-MBA,as E-MBA is 4 times higher then MBA,and you are eligible for E-MBA.
There are few institutes in india from where you can do E-MBA , you are eligible for MBA also but according to me u should do E-MBA.

Yes you are eligible for MBA, through distance education mode. You may also take lateral entry in the 2 year course and do the same in 18 months in insitutues which have this provision. Sikkim-Manipal insititute has this provision.

Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement for MBA. If your diploma is equivalent of Graduation, having a vast experience of 17 years, you can try for E-MBA from some eminent institutions like IIM Ahmedaad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore or Indian Business School.
