Is it possible for a student to pursue B.Ed and M.A (English) simultaneously from IGNOU
i have taken admission in bed correspondence from ignou in the year 2010 and its two year course. now in 2011 i want to do ma english side by side from ignou only.is it possible to pursue two courses side by side.also i want to ask if i can show both degrees together.

the beauty of correspondence course is that... you can do more courses paralell

Yes you can do both from the same university. You can opt for distance education.

as per my information, one can obtain one degree and one diploma at a time but can not obtain two degrees at time. so i would request to search more information on internet the rules and regulations of university oir may talk to the head of IGNOU who will guide u better. bt first i

No objection seems to be there from the side of the IGNOU, being correspondence courses/ distance education, as the courses can be studied at the ease and convenience of a student.
