I am persuing my diploma [ INFORMATION SCIENCE ], can i do engineering in a foreign country once i'm done with my diploma course? If so, please do provide me with the duration of course & universities in UK.

You can do one year top up degeree courses in UK.

Naturally progression from a diploma into the second year of engineering degree in UK is not possible as in the case of India. You may have to start from the first year itself.
