BOTH the courses are different at all.you can do it but from carrier point of view,it will
be wrong step for you.it's better to take B.TECH IN COMPUTER ENGG. OR IT'S related fields. choosing B.TECH( CIVIL ENGG. ) after Dip. in computer Engg., in this case you have to choose 'only one' job prof
