my education class told me that 12 weeks of preparation for gre is enough can 12 be sufficient time for gre having classes 5 days a week for 2 hours???

It all depends on your skill set and knowledge. If you are good in verbal and quantitative, 12 weeks should be plenty. Further, you must dedicate hours outside class as well. best wishes!
