- Study good books on competitive exams;
- Start studying a standard English language paper for updating your knowledge on current affairs;
- Start reading a standard book on General Knowledge & Current Affairs; and
- Join some coaching centre.

For Preliminary exam you will have to get through knowledge about your subject (choosed) and General Knowledge at the best. For this you must Read daily newspapers and magazines for the Current G.K.
