2. many student is poor nobody help them , they needful short term class and get certified position and get more salary .
Good luck all -
but I would like to raise the point which Ms. Priya mentioned in her comment i.e what would be the value of those students in the job Market, who have already completed Part time MBA

srdhotre_70@yahoo.com says -- AICTE should consider the pros and cons of it. it will spoil the career of management working professional. hence forth no working professional will get an opportunity to enhance his skills and implement it in his possesive knowledge so as to have personal growth with industries growth.& development. This will retain the professinals to work with the old skills and not develop some new one. By taking such decision ,AICTE has stopped the opportunity of working professional to study further which was impossible for him because of high fees .

AICTE .,YOU WILL MAKE THE LIVES HORRIBLE

This AICTE decision def is going to effect the current batch students.
-
oh and what would happen to those who are already doing it ?
-
Guys, another blow to B-Schools by AICTE, all part time MBA conducted by AICTE approved Institutes are banned

I think if the level of the examination is standardized to test only certain vital aptitude tests or basic qualification for management, and the individual institutions are given freedom to screen students according to specific courses (which is the case right now), it may actually work. One test for all management institutes saves time and money of students.

2011-02-08 11:07:34Well I think its not a wise decision as most of the exams conducted were course specific such XAT, MICA conducted separate entrance for mass comm courses. -
I feel it is a good decision for the interest of candidates. In fact so many admission tests should not be there, as that only distract the candidates and upsets the schedules of the candidates and they remain on their toes. BUT, still in my view, only one competitive admission tests conducting body should be there instead of several in India as a whole for all the institutions of India, like GRE/TOEFL/IELETS for English tests for the world institutions as a whole.

When will the decision take effect? What will happen to students who appeared in XAT this year and scored top positions in the merit list but haven't appeared for CAT?
