Is it a prudent decision to do an MBA program from UPES, Dehradun, which is approved by DEC

I wanted to apply for distance MBA course from UPES, Dehradun which is a DEC approved course and not AICTE. If a course is approved by DEC then does it mean it is also approved by AICTE? Is it going to be a recognised course?

AICTE is responsible for regulating technical programs only. The MBA course you are planning to take has the required DEC approval.

Amit, logically if you want to do a regular course then it is necessary to see that that instituion /college has an AICTE approval and is affliated to a university which is approved by the UGC, All Technical colleges come under the purview of the AICTE only.
