On what basis are you there in New York City? Are you a resident/green Card holder? Are you on a visitors visa or a student visa? Please give as many details as possible including details of your qualifcations. I shall suggest you institutes once you give me the details.

These are called Career Schools. Basically these are non-universities or Career Institutes. They do not have the same admission criteria as universities.
