Which course should be pursued after BCA for a person wanting to become a database administrator
I am doing my BCA now. I want to become database administrator. What further studies should i do after BCA to become DBA? Can i do MCA for it? Plz help

Dear Pooja, There are various RDBMS in the industry such as 1) SQL Server 2) Oracle 3) Sybase After BCA , you will go ahead for MCA because it is PG Degree. As per Database Administration concern you will go for SQL or Oracle or Both. SQL Server is a product of Microsoft, so you need to do certifica

Dear Pooja, Instead of MCA you can pursue your certification into Oracle 11g. As for DBA the certification is required.

you can take admsion in MCA fro better professional work or better job and side by side join classes for DBA
